September 1, 2016 – Colorado Soccer Returns Home for Big 10/Pac 12 Date

Colorado State Ram Men’s Cross Country was ranked 25th in the USTFCCCA Poll released yesterday. announced the Rams as the 10th ranked team earlier in August, putting the Rams as one of the teams who will be gunned for in the region. Colorado State men’s and women’s cross country teams were ranked 6th in the Mountain Region poll, and will open the season tomorrow hosting the 2016 CSU Invite (read more here).

The Colorado Buffaloes went on the road this past weekend and lost twice, falling back to 2-2. The top Women’s Soccer team in the state returns home today as they’ll host Michigan State at 4:30pm. It’s another test for a young Buffalo squad ahead of their Sunday matchup with Drexel (see more here).

Division 2 Football also kicks off with a matchup between the two standard bearers in the RMAC. CSU-Pueblo will face Colorado School of Mines in Golden. The Thunderwolves and Orediggers have found themselves atop the RMAC the last several seasons and typically meet late in the season, as such. However they’ll meet as a nationally-featured game tonight at 7pm. CSU-Pueblo is the 5th-ranked team and Mines the 18th ranked team in the preseason rankings nationally (live stats can be seen here).
