Game Slate – January 4, 2017

Conference play continues for the University of Denver Men’s Basketball program tonight. The Pioneers, winners of their first game in Summit League play last week, will welcome in the University of South Dakota. It’s the final game of a 5-game homestand for the Pioneers, who are in search of their 7th consecutive victory. The current 6-game winning streak is the longest by a Denver Men’s Basketball program since the 2012-13 season. South Dakota lost last time out to South Dakota State (click here for a full game preview for the Pioneers).

Both the Colorado State Ram Men’s and women’s basketball teams will face San Jose State tonight. The women are at home and will tip at 7pm while the men are on the road and tip at 8pm. The CSU Ram Men are looking to get more positive results after falling in their conference opening on New Year’s Eve (read more here).

Much more college basketball action takes to the hardwood tomorrow night, and into the weekend. Division 1 conference play all will occur for Colorado, Colorado State, Air Force and Northern Colorado while the RMAC will have their first full weekend of action in 2017 as well.

In wrestling action tonight, Colorado Mesa and Adams State will square off in Grand Junction. The dual starts the RMAC slate for both squads in 2017 (click here for the preview). The full slate of RMAC Wrestling will take to the mat beginning tomorrow night.

Junior college basketball action for Colorado’s squads tonight will see Otero Junior College visiting Laramie County in Cheyenne.
