After a great postseason run during the 2017-18 season, the Roadrunners entered in to the 2018-19 campaign hoping to match that same magic. They tested themselves with several NCAA Tournament participants during the non-conference season and encountered some early speed bumps in RMAC play. But once they found their groove, they have jumped right back into the mix of teams that hope to make a great postseason run.

Head coach Tanya Haave is now the winningest coach in program history. And senior Joni Wittwer set an RMAC record this season making 11 3-pointers in a game against New Mexico Highlands. Add in preseason all-RMAC selection Jaelynn Smith, a four-year starter for the Roadrunners, and players like Freshman Morgan Smith contributing solid minutes, and Metro sports a well-rounded squad.

Colorado Corner had an opportunity as the team embarked on a journey to South Dakota to feature the program. You can listen to the interviews below.
